Landscape Services Agreement
1. Scope of Work
Cedarline Home Services (the “Company ”) will furnish the labor, equipment and materials described in Estimate #208, including lawn care installation over prepared soil, edging along the drive and a first watering. Work not listed in the estimate is not included and will be quoted separately before it begins.
2. Schedule and Access
Work starts on the date agreed in the schedule and continues on consecutive working days, weather permitting. The Customer will keep the work area clear of vehicles and pets and will provide access to an outdoor water supply during working hours.
3. Payment
A deposit is due when this agreement is signed and the balance is due on completion. Estimates are valid for 30 days. Either party may cancel in writing before work begins; materials already ordered for the job are billed at cost.
4. Materials and Workmanship
lawn care, soil amendments, edging and mulch are supplied by the Company and remain its property until the balance is paid in full. Plant material is set to the depth and spacing noted in Estimate #208. The Company will correct installation defects reported within thirty days of completion at no charge.
5. Watering and Establishment
New lawn care needs daily watering for the first two weeks and watering every other day for the two weeks after that. The Customer is responsible for watering once the crew leaves the site. Turf lost to under-watering, pet traffic or herbicide applied by others is outside the correction period in Section 4.
6. Insurance and Utilities
The Company carries general liability insurance and workers ’ compensation for its crew and will provide a certificate on request. Public utility lines are located before any digging; irrigation lines and pet fencing that the Customer has not marked are repaired at cost.
7. Debris and Site Restoration
Spoil, lawn care offcuts and packaging leave the site at the end of each working day. Ruts left by equipment are raked, topdressed and seeded before the final walkthrough with the Customer.
8. Entire Agreement
This agreement, the estimate it references and any addendum signed with it are the whole of what was agreed between the parties. A change takes effect only when both parties initial it. Georgia law governs this agreement.
